Landon was on this blog back in February. He's changed a lot since then. Here are few from this morning. I know his parents are waiting anxiously for me to get these posted. He's is such a gorgeous little wild haired man.
Here are a couple of Jaci's little brother, Cody. I thought about photoshopping out the mosquito bites and bruises on his legs. But that's just part of being a little boy. And you can't be a kid in South Texas without mosquito bite legs. I really like these two of him on the swing.
Mike and Gwen were married yesterday evening in a small, intimate ceremony at our church. We wish you guys lots of love and fun for years and years and years...... We are really happy for you two.
I don't have a studio. Let's just get that out of the way in case you were wondering. And I don't have any kind of studio lighting or backdrops. I shoot outside or in people's homes. A lot of times I've never been in that place before so I have to think a little to make it work. Generally speaking, I'm not a huge fan of traditional looking studio stuff. A lot of it's just a little too Life Touch or Olan Mills for me. Sometimes I think it would be cool to have a studio but it just kind of seems a little stuffy or something. Plus there's the whole studios are expensive issue. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures that look like they might have been done in a studio but they were actually done in this couple's bedroom. I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. I think I might invest in a black backdrop thing in the somewhat near future. What's behind them is actually their curtain, which I desaturated and darkened. And I know I've posted a lot of pictures of this particular family but I love babies. Have I said that already?
I was messing around with the camera and took this of my husband playing guitar. I took it at a high ISO on purpose and it was really grainy. I dirtied it up a lot more and I really like the end result. From cute babies to messy guitar pictures. My oh my, check out my versatility! Wow, that sounds really arrogant. If you know me, you know otherwise.
I'm finishing up some editing from Carolyn's family shoot. I really like the way these turned out so I figured I'd stick them on here. Why not? That's what this is for, right? I'm going to bed!
Sunday is Father's Day so I thought I would post some pictures of some daddies and their "babies." I hope you guys have a good Father's Day. I hope you eat a good lunch and have a long nap. I hope you wrestle with your kids and get all good and sweaty. Mostly, I hope you know that you are loved.
And last, but not least, my favorite daddies, Phillip and my father-in-law. Here are a few of Phillip with our boys. The last one is of our boys and their granddad.

A little bit about the photographer...
I am a pretty laid back, easy going person. I think I set people at ease pretty quickly and really enjoy my job. I pay close attention to detail and take great pride in my work.
I do not watch the clock during a photo shoot. Usually a shoot lasts about an hour, but if it takes longer, that's fine. I don't tack on any extra charges if a shoot takes a while. I'm also cool with going to multiple locations as long as they are in reasonably close proximity to each other.
I really love being around all ages and types of people. My goal with my photography is to capture you as the cleverly created individual that you are.
